Richard (Dic)'s Story
I thought it was about time to update this. I have basically retired from actively participating in politics, however, I still dabble just enough to keep my name on all the contribution lists.
Like the rest of you, I'm just getting older. It's hard to accept when I still retain so many memories that seem so recent.
Since 1980, I have been in the Oil & Gas industry, like every good Texan was supposed to do, and we are finally starting to make some money. I thank each of you when you fill up at the pump these days.

Those were really great years, it was a good part of town, and I was blessed to know so many of you and have the quality and character of friends that I had back then. It is hard to accept that our neighborhood has declined to the extent that it has, but everything changes.
I remember almost everyone. You were great. Thank you.
Most of you will remember me as Dic Reaves. I took my proper name back when my Father passsed over in 2002.
